CAUSATIVE VERB “HAVE”
Causative “have” is followed by the simple form of a verb, not an infinitive. (causative “have” diikuti oleh verb 1 (tanpa tambahan s/-es), bukan diikuti oleh infinitif (to+verb1)).
Examples:
- I had John repair my bike. (CORRECT)
- I had John to repair my bike. (INCORRECT,because it is followed by an infinitive)
Kalimat ke 2 salah karena diikuti oleh infinitif (to+verb1)
► “Have” gives the idea that “X” request “Y” to do something. ( “Have” menunjukkan bahwa “X” meminta “Y” untuk melakukan sesuatu.)
The formula is: “X” has/have/had “Y” do something (simple form) (rumusnya adalah “X” has/have/had “Y” melakukakn sesuatu (verb dalam bentuk sederhana(verb1 tanpa tambahan s/-es)).
Examples: - Mary has John carry her bag.
Means(artinya): John carried the bag because Mary ask him to. ( John membawa tas karena Mary menyuruhnya).
-I have Jane put my books
Means: Jane put my books because I ask her to.
- Tom had Jane clean the room yesterday
Using “had” because the adverb of time is yesterday. But still the verb is in simple form.
HAVE SOME THING DONE
(HAVE +Past Participle (Verb3)
The past participle(verb 3) is used after “have’ to give a passive meaning.
Examples: - I had my watch repaired (by someone) yesterday.
Means: I caused my watch to be repaired by someone. (saya menyuruh orang lain untuk memperbaiki jam tangan saya kemarin).
-I have my hair cut means: I asked someone to cut my hair. (saya menyuruh seseorang untuk mencukur rambut saya)
- I am having my car washed at the moment means: I am asking someone to wash my car at the moment. (pada saat ini saya SEDANG menyuruh seseorang mencuci mobil saya.)
You have to know the different between Have something done and present Perfect/ past perfect form.
HAVE SOMETHING DONE: I have my hair cut means: I ask someone to cut my hair.
PRESENT PERFECT(S+HAVE/HAS+V3): I have cut my hair means: you cut your own hair.
PATTERNS for HAVE SOMETHING DONE:
• S + HAVE/HAS + OBJECT + VERB 3
• S + HAD + OBJECT +VERB3 +PAST TIME
• S + TOBE (IS/AM/ARE) + HAVING +OBJECT + VERB3 + NOW/RIGHT NOW/ AT THE MOMENT.
CONCLUSION:
- Use active sentence for causative “have” (using simple form of a verb) and passive sentence for have something done (using verb 3).
- For causative “have” after subject you have to use the right form of “have” whether it is “have or has or had” then the object is people (someone), after that,you have to use a simple form of a verb (verb 1 without s/-es) in any kind of adverb of time (present time or past time still use simple form of a verb), you just choose the right form of “have” “have or has” for present time, “had “ for past time.
- For have something done just follow the pattern.

green canyon
Actually, this place has a real name that is Cukang Taneuh. While the Green Canyon popularized name of a French citizen in 1993.
The name has a meaning that is Cukang Taneuh land bridge. That's because over the valley and ravine Green Canyon there is a bridge of land used by farmers around there to go to their gardens.

My father wasn’t working. My father retired since 2005. Now dad just spent time at home. My father had become a businessman. Father’s car buying and selling businesses since retirement. However, due to lack of expertise in the business dismiss father's business.
My brother who first worked in a private company. He had finished college since 2005. He completed college at the University Gunadarma majoring in Electrical Techniques. He was a hard worker. He also successfully built a company with a friend. I am proud to have a brother like him.
My sister who two is the one who are married. And she had already blessed a child. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Education University of Muhammadiyah, she majored in Japanese language education. Too bad she didn’t want to continue as a teacher, she only worked in a private company but now she is busy taking care of her first child 2 years old.
My sister is the third work the private company. She was 25 years old. she is also busy with his own work. She always left early and come home at night. She graduated in Information Management at the University Banisaleh. While my sister is the fourth she was in college at the University Gunadarma, now she is six semesters.
I'm proud of my parents who successfully educate all his children through college. For them education is important so that both my parents kept trying to send their children to university. And I'm still in semester two Gunadarma University majoring in Economic Management.
Everyday we are all busy with their jobs. We did a routine from morning till night. But my house is always crowded because my youngs brother was 5 years old, he hasn’t the school. After each activity we are always together and talked every day. I'm glad to have a family of mutual respect for each job, if there is a problem then we will provide solutions to help them.
My family are all busy. Therefore, if there is holiday time we usually spend time out of town for refreshing. Since all busy with their jobs. Only on a long vacation just to stay in outside city. Togetherness is urgently needed. And togethers with family is very nice.

Rujak Mie
Material:
200 grams of wet noodles, rinse with hot water
25 grams of dried glass noodles, hot water soak, drained
30 grams of bean sprouts, discarding roots
100 grams of cucumber, diced small
50 grams of dried shrimp, hot water soak, puree, roasted
Seasonings:
5 cloves garlic (don’t peel)
10 pieces of red chili sauce
5 pieces of curly red chili
1 tsp dried shrimp
11 / 2 tsp salt
250 grams palm sugar, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vinegar cooking
400 ml water
How to make :
1. Puree the garlic, cayenne pepper, red chili, dried shrimp and salt.
2. Mix with water and palm sugar.
3. Cook until boiling, lift, strain, chill.
4. Add vinegar to cook.
5. Mix well.
